Hard Rock International announces Hard Rock Hotel Dublin plans

Less than three weeks after inaugurating its Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Atlantic City and American casino operator, Hard Rock International, has announced that it plans to enter Ireland by opening a new 120-room boutique hotel in the heart of central Dublin.

The Orlando-headquartered firm used an official Tuesday press release to reveal that it hopes to inaugurate its new four-star Hard Rock Hotel Dublin in partnership with local hotel operator Tifco Limited by the end of 2020 with the venue also due to offer around-the-clock room service, live music and an all-day restaurant alongside a bar serving food and cocktails.

Hard Rock International declared that its latest enterprise will ‘shine a light on the musical vibrancy of the destination’ by moreover celebrating ‘the pioneering artists of the past and present that have contributed to the city’s cultural vibrancy’. It stated that the venue is to furthermore feature its The Sound of Your Stay music program, which allows guests to enjoy complimentary vinyl records and in-room sessions on a Fender electric guitar, as well as its newly-launched Rock Om yoga wellness experience.

Owned by the Seminole Tribe of Florida, Hard Rock International currently runs some 15 gambling venues in eleven countries and explained that its coming Hard Rock Hotel Dublin is to be located on Lord Edward Street, which is only a stone’s throw away from the Irish capital’s tourist-friendly Temple Bar district. The operator detailed that the venue will occupy two existing structures that are due to be extensively remodeled encompassing the current red brick listed home of the Parliament Hotel alongside the adjacent Fashion House Building.

“Ireland has always been a place close to our hearts and it only seems right to open a Hard Rock Hotel in Dublin, given the city’s musical roots,” read a statement from Todd Hricko, Senior Vice-President and Head of Global Hotel Development for Hard Rock International. “This is an exciting opportunity to extend our presence in Europe and elevate the one-of-a-kind offering at Hard Rock Hotels to the next level.”
